ADOPTION OF SHIPPING AND/OR SEA CONTAINER LOCAL LAW 2023
The Council has resolved to adopt the Shire of Westonia Local Law –
Purpose of the local law:
To make provisions about the purpose of this Local Law is to prescribe the approval process required for the placement of shipping and/or sea containers on residential, commercial and industrial land within the Westonia townsite
Effect of the local law:
The effect of this Local Law is to establish minimum requirements for the placement of shipping and/or sea containers on land within the Westonia townsite.
Commencement date of the local law is 7th June 2023.
A copy of the local law and the consolidations of the local laws, may be inspected at or obtained from the Shire Office, 41 Wolfram Street Westonia during normal opening hours.

The local law was published in the Government Gazette on 23 May 2023.
