Adventure Elachbutting Elachbutting Rock is a massive granite outcrop, a very popular camping spot for 4x4 wheel clubs and for locals. It has a spectacular colourful wave similar to Hyden’s Wave Rock with the added beauty of ‘Monty’s Pass’, a 30m tunnel caused by a rock slide. An echoing cave similar to an amphitheatre is close by. EXTENSION OF THE PROHIBITED BURNING PERIOD.

BUSH FIRES ACT 1954

It is hereby notified for public information per section 17 (7) of the Bush Fire Act, Due to the hot and dry conditions and fuel load in the district, it has been resolved to extend the Prohibited Burning Period for a further fourteen (14) days. The Restricted Burning Period will commence 1^st March 2023.
