In accordance with Regulation 12(3) the Planning and Development (Local Planning Schemes) Regulations 2015.
At the ordinary Council meeting on the 21 February 2023 Council endorsed the Draft Local Planning Strategy. The Strategy was then forwarded to the Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC) for consideration. On the 17 March 2023 the WAPC informed the Shire that the Strategy is consistent with regulation 11(2) of the Planning and Development (Local Planning Schemes) Regulations 2015.
A copy of the proposed Draft Local Planning Strategy may be inspected or obtained online by, by visiting the Shire Website or at the Council Administration Office, 41 Wolfram Street, Westonia WA 6423 between the hours of 8.30am and 4:30pm Monday to Friday.
Submissions on the proposed Draft Local Planning strategy must be received by 4:00 pm on Monday 8th May 2023 and may be submitted:
- Via email to admin@westonia.wa.gov.au
- By mail addressed to the Chief Executive Officer, Shire of Westonia, PO Box 11, Westonia WA 6423.
