Construction of the $270,000 multi-purpose venue will begin July 2007 and hopefully completed by the end of December 2007, at Lot 431 Diorite Street Westonia which is a recreational reserve that currently hosts the Westonia Swimming Pool, Tennis courts and Playground

Council and Westonia Progress Association have amalgamated to contribute further funds required. Bill Price Chief Executive Officer of the Shire of Westonia would like to sincerely thank the Westonia Progress Association for its generous contribution of funds.

The multi purpose Pavilion’s flexible, universal facility design will serve as club rooms for numerous sporting clubs and for the general community to host a variety of functions. The pavilion will also provide adequate facilities for encouraging physical activity via their respective sports. i.e. cricket, tennis and future bowls
